An old scam has resurfaced! The trick by which someone will offer you a large sum of money for an item, and then they will add another item to the trade, and magically, the large sum of money has exponentially decreased. There are many variations to this scam. Example:
Person A is selling a Saradomin full helm.
Person B trades Person A, and puts up 1000k.
Person B then reduces the amount of money to 10004, adding another item at the exact same time.
Person A Accepts. HOPEFULLY notices the change, and declines. Watch out for this scam. Always check the second screen. If you are dealling with thousands, you will see ----k, if you are dealling with millions, you will see ----M. Always check the amount of money on the second screen, as it may not be visible on the first. |
